I had one in one of my presses once and they sent me new bushings and shims. They're awesome. In fact my oldest LNL AP I had driveshaft issues and they refurbished the whole press for me, $0.00. Again the best.

Okay so I went to remove my pin on my mag release and the set screw came out but the pin that was supposed to be apart of it stayed in lol. I have no idea how to remove the pin. It's raw polished aluminum so I wanted to paint the lower and keep the mag release as it is (Raw/polished aluminum) to have a nice accent. I can leave it because it still works fine but it's going to drive me crazy! I'll just mask it off at this point because I don't want to mess with it tell I have a replacement kit just in case. I was hoping you might have a fix or a idea on how I can have this pin removed without drilling a small pin hole on the under side and punching it from the bottom up but it's all aluminum so I don't want to do that. Let me know what you think.

I had one of the Orig, it fell apart, 454 casull, would not feed, spring tube would pop out, tube would edge out, barrel and tube brackets would not stay tight, safety was loose, no parts available back then. 1994.. Garbage....

If pure lead has a BHN of 5 but the bottom value on the calculator shows 8.6. I also noticed several of the other values were way off too. I know the calculator has been up for a while and this is an old video but any advice would be appreciated as I keep buying alloy and cant get it right.

Do a video on cast bullet lube options. I'm thinking about going old school Alox just because I found 2 quarts.

I too have had great luck with my LNL. But Hornady should provide a basic tool to remove/install those bushings.

All the naysayers about not using metal rods live in fantasy land. I beat the hell out of that round with a hardened rod for like 20 mins straight but after drilling it out and then doing a good cleaning and copper wire brushing the barrel there was not a single scratch or blemish

Lead mushrooms under pressure so tapping won't work unless you drill out the main mass.

I got it out but, Soaking had no affect... Had a hardened rod that I was beating with a regular sized hammer and it would not budge. So I used my shop press... It would just bend and force the rod. So I didn't wanna mess up my barrel, so I look really long, like roughly 20" 1/4" drill bit and drilled out the main mass of the bullet, then I was able to easily tap out that bullet with the rod and a tiny hammer . So in the future if this happens again don't waste your time if it won't easily tap out jus drill it first. Remember this round was only barely in the barrel maybe like 3/4 in the pipe and .25 still in the chamber so it was really stuck in there

Does anyone do or has anyone converted a mold too cast hollow point projectiles around the 130 grain size? Any info is much appreciated.

what barrel is it? length, twist etc. I want to build one and don't want to go too short that I have trouble obtaining 1000fps with heavy bullets, but I only plan to shoot subs, and I want a 1:3 twist so I don't plan on casting for this one.

Waaay back in the 70s, we'd put nickel plated cases in the oven at around 250F for a couple hours, to degas the nickel once in awhile, and reduce the cracking exponentially. Auto plating shops back in the day when they nickel plated bumpers instead of chrome, did the same thing. The exact process is so far back in the cobwebs of my mind that someone should do some digging ...

If you cut the inside of the hole in the bullet, so the edges are thinned a bit, maybe that'll help get the expansion going when shooting with the snub

Take the new mold outside. Wipe it off with a paper towel then spray carb cleaner on it. Wipe it off and repeat a few times. Just spray enough to cover the mold faces. Let the mold dry and you are ready for casting. Please Kill that background music/noise!!!!

I have 1 300 aac round stuck in my barrel but it barely not even fully entered barrel. It's probably halfway entered and half still in the chamber. I cannot get it out with my ramrod that's decently thick. I started lightly tapping and when that didn't work I started tapping harder even with a hammer and still no luck. Letting it soak in penetrant right now

I would say about all of them from eBay or Amazon are fake and the Holy Warrior doesn’t have the same quality issues that you discussed in your video so be careful out there

Great video. Wish I had seen it two days ago. Yesterday I picked up my R92 Gold 20" Gold. Looked over at the store but missed the twisted/bent to the left front sight. Sent RossiUSA a contact email asking them to send me a new front sight. We'll see how that works. New front sight is around $10 plus shipping which would be cheeper than shipping the gun back and forth. I'll let you know what happens.
